Budgeting and Money Management

The aim of our Budgeting and Money Management services is to guide people to evaluate their financial position, plan for the future and move from an indebted situation to financial independence whenever possible.  We work with anyone who has financial problems that make it hard to manage daily living - people on benefits and/or those on wages or salaries.

Our budgeting service provides free financial advice and budgeting planning for people having difficulty managing their income.  This service is available free in Auckland, Waitakere, North Shore and Manukau cities.

We also provide a money management service to help people become debt-free and to develop skills for managing their money.  Under this service clients' income is paid to us as their agent, and we will manage it for them - paying their bills and debts (based on repayment schedules negotiated with clients' creditors), giving them money for necessary expenses and, if possible, saving the balance.  Clients receive monthly statements of their account so you they monitor progress towards being debt-free.   This service is available throughout our region, by arrangement. A small charge applies.
