Family Works Centre, Taranaki

The Family Works Centre has a centre in New Plymouth to serve the North Taranaki Community with offices in Hawera and Stratford to serve the South Taranaki community.

Our staff are caring, qualified and experienced. We are committed to ensuring as many people as possible can take advantage of our service. Specific programmes and courses run at Family Works in Taranaki include:

• Individual, couple, group and family counselling.
• Family Court Counselling. 
• Child and adolescent counselling. 
• Employment counselling, including Stratos, Seed and Instep.
• Parenting programmes, including Cool Parents for parents of primary school age and teenage children, Blended Families and Boundaries.
• Personal development programmes such as Self Esteem, Communication Skills and Assertion Training.
