The Family Works Centre in Featherston (previously known as Turret House Social Services) provides social services to the South Wairarapa Community.
Family Works in South Wairarapa is a rural-based social service centre. We’re open and welcoming and especially community-spirited. Our staff are responsive to the needs of our community and work alongside individuals and families to support them in creating change.
Specific services and programmes run at the centre include:

Counselling with families, couples, groups, and individuals.

Community Support - community work with families and older people.

P@TH (Parents at Turret House) - parent support and education group.

Fathers’ Group - parent support and education group.

Parent Education Course - education and positive parenting strategies.

DARE To Be You Programme - positive decision making programme for young people (10 - 14).

Seniors’ Group - social interaction group for older people

Cottons and Bobbins craft group - sharing skills, inspiration and practical learning across all ages
